Dune Ridge is an Award Winning Country House situated on a 4500ha coastal nature reserve between the two coastal villages of St Francis Bay and Cape St Francis.
Since opening its doors just over 8 years ago, this owner managed country house has established itself as a favourite retreat for guests that appreciate true country living. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail, luxurious accommodation as well as natural surrounds. Our aim is to create the ultimate guest experience showcasing our unique and warm South African hospitality.
Apart from looking after guests our focus is on minimizing our environmental footprint as much possible by supporting local and producing as much of our own goods and produce and giving back to the land and local community.
Des
Descia is our ‘hostess with the mostess’ All our guests arrive as guests and leave as family due to her caring and nurturing personality. She has worked her way up the ranks in various hospitality establishments until she started at Dune Ridge during the COVID pandemic. Des is our Trainee Duty Manager but you’ll see her doing everything and she is everywhere so it will be hard to miss her during your stay
